The Women’s Kabaddi World Cup 2025 will be held in Dhaka, Bangladesh from 17 November to 24 November 2025.

The hosting journey of this World Cup has been quite interesting. Initially announced for Rajgir (Bihar) in June, the event was later shifted to Hyderabad for August. Finally, Bangladesh was confirmed as the official host, making it a historic edition for the sport.

Tournament Format

The format is simple yet competitive:

  • Each team plays one match against every other team in its group.
  • Group A teams will play 4 matches each.
  • Group B teams will play 5 matches each.
  • The top 2 teams from each group will qualify for the semi-finals, scheduled for 23 November.
  • The final match will be played on 24 November to crown the 2025 world champions.

This format ensures plenty of action and gives every team a fair chance to advance.
