Tamil Thalaivas, the Pro Kabaddi League franchise from Tamil Nadu, was established in 2017 and has been part of the league since PKL Season 5. The franchise is owned by Magnum Sports Private Limited, the parent company of the Indian Super League (ISL) club Kerala Blasters FC. Tamil actor Vijay Sethupathi is the brand ambassador for the team. Their home ground is the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Chennai.
For PKL 2025, Pawan Sehrawat, the all-rounder, has been appointed as the captain of Tamil Thalaivas. The franchise has chosen Sanjeev Balian as the head coach, who will be responsible for training the players this season. Although the team has not won a Pro Kabaddi title yet, they reached the semi-finals in 2022, where they were defeated by Puneri Paltan.
