Patliputra Sports Complex, located in Kankarbagh near Patrakar Nagar in Patna, the capital of Bihar, is a major multi-purpose sports facility. Spread across 16 acres, it was inaugurated on 1 March 2012, with its debut marked by hosting the first-ever Women’s Kabaddi World Cup, featuring teams from 16 countries. This high-profile event brought the complex recognition not just in Bihar, but also at the national and international level.

The stadium serves as the home ground for Patna Pirates in the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL). The Pirates are one of the league’s most successful teams, having won the title a record three times.

The complex was developed to provide world-class sports infrastructure in Bihar and is managed by the Bihar State Sports Authority, which is responsible for nurturing and developing sports talent across the state.
