Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) Season 12<\/a><\/strong> has now reached its final stage, and the playoff race has turned extremely exciting. The league matches are currently being held at the Thyagaraj Indoor Stadium in Delhi<\/a><\/strong>, which is also set to host the Play-In round on October 25<\/a><\/strong>, the Playoffs on October 26<\/strong>, and the much-awaited Grand Finale on October 31<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This season’s new format \u2014 where the top 8 teams<\/strong> qualify for the next round \u2014 has kept the tournament wide open. But as the league stage nears its end, a clearer picture is emerging, and a few teams have started pulling ahead in the race for the top 4<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So, which teams are dominating the table and eyeing the playoff spots? Let\u2019s take a detailed look at the top 4 teams<\/strong> that are currently leading the pack in PKL 2025<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Who Has Reached the Top 4 (Playoff) So Far in PKL 12?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

As per the latest standings, Puneri Paltan<\/strong> and Dabang Delhi<\/strong> have officially sealed their spots<\/strong> in the Top 4<\/strong> and have directly qualified for the semi-finals (Qualifier 1)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meanwhile, teams like Telugu Titans<\/strong>, U Mumba<\/strong>, Bengaluru Bulls<\/strong>, Haryana Steelers<\/strong>, and Jaipur Pink Panthers<\/strong> have also secured places in the Top 8<\/strong>, making them eligible for the Play-In round<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Under the new format, the top 4 teams<\/strong> will get direct entry into the playoffs<\/strong>, while the remaining 4 teams (ranked 5-8)<\/strong> will have to battle it out in the Play-In<\/strong> stage. Notably, the top 2 teams<\/strong> get a major advantage by qualifying directly for the Qualifier 1<\/strong>, bringing them a step closer to the final.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. Puneri Paltan \u2013 A Balanced Team With Dominant Form<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Puneri Paltan<\/a><\/strong> has been one of the most fearsome sides in PKL 12. With 13 wins out of 18 matches<\/strong>, 26 points<\/strong>, and a stunning +88 score difference<\/strong>, they currently sit at the top of the points table<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Having completed all their league matches, Puneri Paltan has confirmed a top-2 finish<\/strong> and directly entered the semi-finals<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Their defense has been rock solid, almost impenetrable at times. In attack, Aditya Shinde<\/strong> has proven his mettle with consistent performances. Add to that the smart raiding of Pankaj Mohite<\/strong> and the composed leadership of Aslam Inamdar<\/strong>, and you get one of the most well-balanced and dangerous teams of the season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Under Ashu Malik\u2019s captaincy<\/strong>, Dabang Delhi<\/a><\/strong> has shown tremendous consistency. The team has already won 13 of their 17 matches<\/strong>, securing 26 points<\/strong> with a +73 score difference<\/strong>, placing them second in the standings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With one league match remaining, Delhi still has a chance to climb to the top of the table.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Delhi\u2019s biggest strength lies in its blend of experience and youth<\/strong>. Defenders like Fazel Atrachali<\/strong> and Surjeet Singh<\/strong> have silenced critics with top-class performances. Ashu Malik himself has been a standout raider this season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3. Telugu Titans \u2013 Teamwork Over Star Power<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Telugu Titans<\/a><\/strong> surprised everyone this season by focusing on team balance<\/strong> rather than chasing big names at the auction \u2013 and it worked!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Having played 17 matches<\/strong>, they\u2019ve earned 20 points<\/strong> with a +11 score difference<\/strong>, placing them among the top playoff contenders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Under the guidance of Coach Krishan Kumar Hooda<\/strong>, the team kicked off their campaign with five straight wins<\/strong>, quickly climbing to third in the table.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

4. Bengaluru Bulls \u2013 A Young Team with Big Heart<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Bengaluru Bulls <\/a><\/strong>may have started the season on a slow note, but they\u2019ve made a solid comeback in the middle phase. Coach BC Ramesh<\/strong> handed over the captaincy to young defender Yogesh Dahiya<\/strong>, and the gamble paid off.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

U Mumba<\/a><\/strong> has also had a solid season so far. With 10 wins in 17 matches<\/strong>, they\u2019ve broken into the top 4 temporarily but need more wins and a better score difference to stay there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jaipur Pink Panthers<\/strong> and Haryana Steelers<\/strong> are also in the Top 8<\/strong>, but for them to make it to the Top 4, they\u2019ll have to depend not only on their own wins but also on the results of other teams.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The revised PKL 12 format has raised the stakes. While top 8 teams<\/strong> will enter the knockout stage, only the top 2 teams<\/strong> get direct entry into the semi-finals (Qualifier 1)<\/strong>. This makes the top 2 spots extremely crucial<\/strong>, as it provides a shorter, safer path to the Grand Finale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
